TOO HOT TO HANDLE-Part 1

Though I haven't finished the book, I am pretty sure I'll be recommending this book when I do. If I didn't have to work, I would be laying out on the couch with my face pressed against the words. My mom gave it to me the other day. It's called Lament: Fairie Queen's Deception by Maggie Stievfater. It's the first of three books. It just came out last month and supposedly the second book will be out next year. Let's just say, if you need a fix, you know that kind of "fix", this book will do the trick. Instead of Edward and Jacob, it's Luke and James.

TOO HOT TO HANDLE-Part 2

Brian had a little surprise waiting on my Ipod for me today. My favorite from American Idol.....David Cook's self-titled album. I've been listening to it all night (intermixing it with the Twilight soundtrack. By the way, I LOVE the track by Muse, "Supermassive Black Hole" Check it out http://www.amazon.com/Twilight-Original-Motion-Picture-Soundtrack/dp/B001JOIEZ4/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=dmusic&qid=1227594727&sr=8-3. This song probably has been hitting the spot because it was playing during my most favorite scene from the movie. You know the one where Bella brushes past Edward in the school parking lot on her way up the hill and he turns and follows!) and I gotta say it ROCKS! Really, it is good. If this is what he gives us on his first try, I'm excited to see what he does in the future. I can't get enough of "Bar-bo-sol". It's probably the heaviest-sounding track on the album. And you can't go wrong with "Declaration", "Light On" or "Life on the Moon".

TOO HOT TO HANDLE - Part 3

Finally, all the anticipation that I and every other female on the planet had built up for the movie Twilight came early Friday morning at 12.00 midnight (12.20am for me, my mom, my sisters, sis-in-law and Phil). And it didn't disappoint! Yes, there were flaws, but the flaws, in my opinion, did not overshadow the fun that I had. And when I found myself dreaming about it and then thinking about it non-stop (well, I do occasionally think of other things every now and then) since then, well, that to me, says I LOVED IT!!! I can't wait to go again. And again. And again.........

So, I check out www. people.com almost daily and they posted 2008's Sexiest Men and guess who ranked?...yep! Robert Pattinson. Doesn't look half-bad, does he?
